First thing I think about -- "what time is it?"

Last thing I think about -- sheep jumping over a fence. ^^

My favourite toy was my Amstrad computer, with a "massive" 64KB memory (shows how old I am, doesn't it? ^^)

I chucked it to recycle last year. A 17-minute load time for games didn't exactly help. But then again, when the games are all on cassette tapes, it explains quite a few things ^^.

I'm sitting in the office now -- temperatures hit -5degC and I spent 15 minutes scraping the ice off my car this morning....

I lie here in bed, defeated. Time cannot be beaten, no matter how hard you try...

I wish there was a UK law I could use to force my parents out of my life, and give me some peace and quiet. The only thing that ever comes out of their mouths are complaints and lectures. I have no privacy in this house. Even my own room, and my mail aren't even sacred....

A lot of things are ending tomorrow -- my freedom and my holiday, to name but a few.

Going back to work on Monday is probably the worst feeling I've had in a long time....

No music group really appeals to me, past or present. But if I had the motivation, I'd start up my own band ^^

Just goes to show how stupid and immature the British people are.

Temperatures today were around freezing (0degC), so my car iced up. We took my dad's car for the day, and when I came back, my car had iced up. Someone had scraped into the ice in a side window "WOMEN ARE CONFUSING", and someone else (presumably a girl), had scraped on the ice in the back window "MEN R USELESS".

Discuss...

It's New Year's Day, and of course, my family immediately ruin it....

First question: No, because parts of my family are dotted all over the world, in different time zones. Second question: Sometimes. Third question: I have only one -- after the countdown, get some sleep ^^

Today and yesterday are working days but have been relatively quiet in the office. There's only 4 of us in my room (5 if you count one particular person, who 90% of the time is in another room). I took this opportunity to clean out my desk of all the things that had been sitting there for the most part of the year.

Journey-wise, I'm travelling solo because my sister is off work until next week. The journey in has been great. Taking about 20-25 minutes instead of 45-60 minutes. Yesterday's journey was the best journey to work I've had. I have to go through 20 sets of traffic lights on my normal journey into work (yes, I've done the journey often enough to be able to count them. Sad, I know.) Yesterday, 18 (EIGHTEEN) of them were green as I approached them. Only the first and last set of traffic lights were red when I approached them. This has never happened to me before so I was quite bouncy when I got to the office. ^^

Tomorrow is New Year's Eve. It should hopefully be a half day, but so far, no confirmation from HR.

I'll be definitely watching the New Year's Day episode of Doctor Who, and seeing an end to David Tennant's playing of The Doctor. A bit sad, because I happened to like him in that role.
